A seasonal, multilingual platform for Mountain Dropoffs.

The problem.

Mountain Dropoffs serves an Alpine transfer market whose public offer changes between summer and winter and whose customers need to move from destination content into booking in more than one language.

Treating the site as one static presentation, or rebuilding seasonal pages by hand, would fragment shared destinations, navigation, language context and the route into the existing booking system.

The systems involved.

The implementation brings together WordPress, a custom theme, WPML language handling, a site-wide season state and the existing same-site booking application.

What I built, and why.

I made the operating season a first-class part of the website, so presentation and content emphasis can change between summer and winter while destinations, language navigation and the booking journey remain connected. I also integrated the English and French site journeys with the existing booking interface.

Responsibility and boundaries.

I was responsible for the website architecture, templates, seasonal logic, multilingual integration and the interface into the booking flow. Mountain Dropoffs retained transport operations, pricing and availability, and this case does not claim that I built or operate the underlying booking engine.

Implementation detail.

The server-rendered page exposes the active season as a stable site state, while language context is carried through the public site and into the booking interface. Shared structures stay reusable instead of being duplicated into separate seasonal websites.

The outcome.

The delivered platform can present the active season, switch between English and French, and keep the same-site booking journey connected. No booking, traffic, revenue, conversion or operational-performance result is claimed here.
