A bespoke ecommerce operations layer for Unimatic Watches.

I delivered a refactored WooCommerce platform, a reusable experimentation mechanism and a custom ShippyPro fulfilment bridge for Unimatic Watches through StrategyFive.

The problem.

Unimatic Watches had an established WooCommerce storefront whose customer-facing pages and order handoff needed changes that fitted the way the business already operated.

Generic plugins could cover common cases, but they did not provide the required control over page variants or the specific order data that had to pass from WooCommerce into the fulfilment workflow.

The systems involved.

The implementation joined WordPress, WooCommerce, the Unimatic theme and client adapter, the StrategyFive experimentation plugin, WooCommerce order hooks and metadata, and the ShippyPro API.

What I built, and why.

I refactored and hosted the storefront, built a reusable mechanism for assigning and measuring variants across landing, product-listing, product-detail, cart and checkout surfaces, and built the custom order bridge that maps WooCommerce orders into ShippyPro.

Responsibility and boundaries.

I delivered this work through StrategyFive and was responsible for the software, integration, quality assurance, deployment and rollback paths described here. Unimatic Watches retained the commercial decisions, experimentation programme and fulfilment operation; ShippyPro remained the external fulfilment service. This consultancy does not sell ongoing WooCommerce conversion or ecommerce experimentation programmes.

Implementation detail.

The experimentation layer keeps assignment, consent, cache behaviour and order attribution explicit while allowing client-specific adapters to stay separate from the reusable engine. The fulfilment integration maps order contact, item, tax, shipping, currency and status data at the API boundary without exposing credentials in the storefront.

The outcome.

The result is working bespoke software inside the client platform: controlled page experimentation and a defined WooCommerce-to-ShippyPro handoff rather than unrelated one-off changes. No traffic, conversion, order, revenue or fulfilment-performance result is claimed here.

Thirty minutes, free. I'll ask what it is costing you now, what your alternatives are, and what has to be true at the end for this to have been worth doing. Then I'll tell you whether it is the kind of problem I take, and roughly how many hours I would need before I could tell you anything useful. If it is not for me, I'll tell you who to ring instead.
